In thriller films the opening sequence tends to be a flashback or something happening in the future that then builds up to the story thats going to commence. In this particular case the story's introducing a few of the characters in the film. A raid is taking place to steal a diamond which links in with the film. Snatch in particular is a film set where each scene contains a different et of characters, and consists of loads of stories which in the end a linked together.

20th Century Fox

A film can be recognized by the company that produced the film. In this case 20th Century Fox or  is a worldwide well known as one of the biggest Film Corporation company in history. One of the 6 major American Film Studios, ranging from Films and hit American T.V. series like Star Wars and Family Guy. When a film starts the Film Production company is almost always the first thing you see, it represents the film. Some audiences judge a film by the company, this is why the bigger Film Corporations have a wider target audience.
